Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a grapevine with pigmented berry skin, which is reflected in the "T" (Tinto) designation. The berries are black in color. The variety is traditionally used in winemaking for wine production.

In breeding work, "Tintinha" was used as a parent form for the development of Portuguese varieties such as Alfa, Benfica, and Benguela. Detailed agrotechnical indicators, including maturity dates and disease resistance, are not presented in open databases.
