Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the late-maturing category; harvesting is carried out at the end of September to early October. The plant has good vigor and drought tolerance, and is adapted to mountainous terrain and temperature fluctuations. It is characterized by being undemanding and resistant to diseases with low yields.

The leaf of the plant is medium-sized, pentagonal or rounded. The bunch is medium-sized or long, loose, and often winged. Berries are small, elliptical in shape, black in color, covered with a waxy bloom, and have skin of medium thickness. It is usually grown using the Guyot training system.

The variety is intended exclusively for wine production. The resulting beverages have a deep ruby-red color, soft tannins, and aromas of red fruits, plum, spices, licorice, and Mediterranean shrub.
