Dactylis glomerata L.
Dactylis glomerata is an early-maturing, loose-bunchgrass with high regrowth intensity, allowing for up to 5 cuts per season with a crude protein content of up to 25%. The crop is characterized by high competitiveness, longevity in sward, and superiority over other grasses in drought tolerance.

Dactylis glomerata is a tall-growing grass that begins vegetation in early spring and is capable of maintaining productivity for 8–10 years. Due to the intensive development of the root system, where each shoot forms 8–14 robust roots, the crop efficiently absorbs water and nutrients, ensuring high yields of green mass.
High nutritional value and good palatability for livestock are achieved only when harvested before the heading stage. If allowed to overgrow, forage quality declines sharply. The crop is extremely aggressive towards other species in the sward, tolerates flooding poorly, and thins out under unfavorable overwintering conditions.
