Prunus avium (L.) L.
Sweet cherry productivity is a complex indicator of a cultivar's ability to produce yield, measured by the weight of fruit per tree or per hectare, and depends on morphological elements: spur clusters, the number of flowers per bud, and tree crop load.
In the reference 98 varieties crop Sweet cherry, where this is mentioned in the description.
To assess the yield potential of sweet cherries, the number and length of annual shoots, the intensity of flower bud formation, and the productivity of spur clusters are analyzed. The objective efficiency of a cultivar is determined through specific productivity, calculated as the ratio of yield weight to trunk cross-sectional area or crown volume, which allows for comparison between trees of different ages and growth types.
In commercial production, yield values can reach 70–80 ц/ha, and figures of 20–30 kg per tree are considered a good result. In intensive cultivation, it is critical to maintain a balance between crop volume and fruit quality, as excessive productivity leads to a reduction in fruit size.
