To objectively evaluate the productivity of pear cultivars, absolute indicators are used, such as fruit weight in kilograms per tree or tons per hectare, as well as relative parameters: specific productivity per unit of crown projection area and fruit load per unit of trunk cross-sectional area.

High yield of mature fruit-bearing pear trees is estimated in the range of 40–50 to 100–150 kg per tree, while in commercial cultivation, figures reach 20–60 tons per hectare. When evaluating a cultivar, not only the yield volume is considered, but also precocity, regularity of bearing, and the correlation between fruit load and fruit market quality and mass.
