Variety description

10 August 2026

The Armida tree has a spreading canopy and belongs to the dwarfing growth type. The variety is resistant to scab, while it may show varying degrees of susceptibility to fire blight. There is information regarding incompatibility when grafting with certain other varieties, for example with the Uta variety.

The fruits have a pear shape, white juicy flesh with aroma, and are suitable for storage until December. The variety is intended for intensive horticulture, including commercial and amateur use, due to the compact size of the tree and high quality characteristics of the yield.
