The object is classified as a seed-grown pear rootstock obtained through selection from wild forms. The plant is grown not for fruit production, but for the development of a root system and to ensure the viability of the cultivated varieties grafted onto it.

Trees grafted onto this rootstock are characterized by vigorous growth. The rootstock is distinguished by good drought tolerance and low sensitivity to chlorosis, which makes it effective for use in orchards without artificial irrigation.
