The variety is an interspecific hybrid combining genetic traits of the European pear and Asian species. The tree has weak to medium vigor with an upright growth habit. Successful cultivation requires specialized crown formation systems.

The fruits are pear-shaped with bright red skin and small lenticels. The flesh is bright white, juicy and sweet. The variety is distinguished by exceptional storage and transport capabilities.

The plant is self-incompatible and requires the selection of pollinator varieties, as fruit set may vary depending on environmental conditions.
