The pear variety Jaco is the result of a breeding program conducted at the Geisenheim Research Center. The work was carried out under the leadership of Professor Helmut Jacob, who was also involved in the breeding of other fruit crops.
Data on the variety is limited. At the end of July, the variety demonstrated good indicators of tree growth, fruit size, and productivity. Detailed agronomic descriptions, including maturity group, disease resistance parameters, and detailed consumer characteristics, are currently unavailable.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
