This rootstock is characterized as semi-vigorous. It is distinguished by good compatibility with various Pyrus communis pear varieties, ensures reliable anchorage of trees in the soil, and promotes high yields of grafted varieties.
The plant possesses pronounced resistance to fire blight, caused by Erwinia amylovora, as well as to pear decline and certain types of soil-borne pathogens. Propagation is primarily carried out via in vitro methods or hardwood cuttings.
