The variety belongs to early-maturing plants with a growing season of about 55 days and reaches a height of 25–30 cm. The root crops have a characteristic flat-round shape and dark red flesh color. The variety is a traditional open-pollinated variety with a history of use in Sweden spanning more than a century and a half.
The plant possesses good resistance to bolting. The root crops are characterized by a sweet taste and are suitable both for personal consumption in fresh or processed form and for commercial cultivation, including the sale of bunching produce.
