The variety belongs to the Egyptian beet group and is characterized by a flattened, disc-shaped root with dark red skin. The pulp is an intense dark red color, possessing a pronounced sweet taste and high aromatic qualities.
The variety is versatile and suitable for both early harvesting of bunch produce and for obtaining the main harvest, which is suitable for winter storage. Studies note relative resistance to a number of phytopathogens during storage and a tendency toward low nitrate accumulation.
