The variety forms dark green foliage with a wavy leaf blade and large, crunchy white petioles approximately 10 cm wide. Technical maturity is reached 2–2.5 months after sowing; harvesting is possible from summer until early winter.

The plant possesses resistance to heat and cold. The variety is classified as non-hybrid and is in the public domain. The primary purpose is culinary use of the leaves and petioles; cultivation as an ornamental crop is also acceptable.
