The variety is a compact shrub with upright shoots. Three years after planting, the plant reaches a height and width of about 25–30 cm. Leaves are bright green, small, scale-like, and arranged on the shoots in an imbricate manner.
Flowers belong to the bud-flowering group and have a white color. The flowering period occurs from August to October. Due to the non-opening buds, the variety maintains its decorative appearance for a long time and is resistant to rain, fog, and frost.
The variety possesses good winter hardiness (USDA zone 4–5); in the conditions of the middle zone, covering is recommended during the first years. The bush maintains its upright form and does not splay; it is suitable for rock gardens, borders, heather gardens, and container cultivation.
