The plant reaches a height of 60 to 130 cm and has a sturdy stem with large leaves. It is suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, open field, and containers with a volume of 5 liters or more.
The fruits have a plump conical shape, 8 to 12 cm long and 3.5–6 cm wide. During the ripening process, longitudinal cracks often appear on the skin. The fruit color changes from dark green at technical maturity to red at biological maturity.
The growing period to technical maturity lasts 90–100 days, and to biological maturity 120–140 days. Pungency varies in the range of 500 to 6000 Scoville heat units. The fruits are juicy and fleshy, making them suitable for stuffing, grilling, pickling, and fresh consumption.
