The variety is intended for industrial use, with the main purpose of cultivation being the production of inulin. In the course of physiological studies, it was determined that this variety exhibits sensitivity to the effects of low temperatures, which is manifested by a decrease in pectin methylesterase activity in the roots.
The seeds of the variety are characterized by a weight of about 1.5 mg and a length of 2.5–3 mm. They are often used in scientific practice for developing machine vision techniques, density calibration, and chlorophyll fluorescence assessment.
