Variety description

The plant forms a voluminous and dense head, consisting of large light green leaves with white veins. The inner parts of the head have a crunchy texture and a mild sweetish taste, while the outer leaves may have a slight bitterness.

The variety is hardy and moderately resistant to cold, although in case of severe frosts it requires the removal of damaged outer leaves. The plant is intended for cultivation for its above-ground part and is not suitable for forcing.

Used mainly fresh as a salad crop, also suitable for stewing or grilling. Due to its dense structure, the heads can be stored in a cool place for several months.
