The shrub is characterized by a dense crown and reaches a height of 3 to 4 meters, in some cases up to 6 meters. The main decorative feature of the variety is the red-brown color of the leaves.

The nuts are oblong-ovate in shape, colored brown or dark brown, and ripen in September. The kernel yield is about 48%, and the taste is characterized as aromatic nutty.

The variety is winter hardy, tolerates pruning well, but can be sensitive to severe frosts. Pollinator varieties are required to ensure yield.
