The nuts have a light brown shell and an intense red husk, the length of which is 25–50% of the fruit size. The kernel skin peels off well after dry heat treatment.
The variety is suitable both for in-shell and shelled kernel markets, and for ornamental use. Suitable for growing in home gardens and industrial plantations.
