Corylus avellana L. Common hazel · Fruit crops

also searched as: роте ламбертнусс

Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is characterized by weak growth and the presence of a wide or flat crown. A distinctive feature of the variety is the intense red-burgundy leaf color, which allows the crop to be used for decorative purposes.

The fruits are medium-sized, brown or dark brown in color, and possess a pronounced flavor. The nuts mature in mid-early timeframes and are tightly covered by a husk that exceeds the fruit in size, which complicates harvesting and requires manual cleaning.
