The line was obtained in 2011 as a result of crossing ten selected samples of Cynodon dactylon from China, Africa, and Australia. Development was aimed at producing turfgrasses that maintain viability under conditions of sunlight deficiency.

During tests, the line showed high seed productivity, surpassing the Yukon variety and comparable to the Riviera variety. Cold tolerance, salt tolerance, turf density, and turf quality under shaded conditions were also studied, where the sample demonstrated competitive results.
