The variety is the result of breeding work based on crossing the female plant of the Marynka variety with a mutant male form of the same variety. The crop is classified as an aromatic dual-purpose hop used to impart both a specific aroma and high-quality bitterness to beer.
The alpha-acid content is 6.5–9%, and the essential oil concentration reaches 2.1 ml/100 g. The plant is intended for cultivation on standard hop trellises, and the planting material undergoes virus and viroid eradication programs.
