The variety was obtained by crossing bitter varieties with Czech aromatic varieties of the Saaz hop line. The plant has green stems and ovoid-shaped cones. The variety exhibits resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as to spider mites and hop aphids.

The alpha-acid content is 7–12.5% with a low cohumulone level, which provides a mild bitterness. The aromatic profile includes herbal, spicy, earthy, and floral notes. The yield of the variety varies from 2000 to 2300 kg/ha.

The hop is used in brewing for the production of lagers and ales. Due to its neutral bitterness character and moderate aroma, it is optimal for second hopping in the middle or end of the boil. Storage stability is about 70–75% of alpha-acids after six months.
