The variety is a winter type; the consumption period for fruits lasts from November to April. Trees are characterized by vigorous growth, winter hardiness, and the ability to grow in high-altitude areas, while the variety is undemanding regarding soil quality.

Fruits are medium to large in size, reaching 320 g, and have a wide-conical or cylindrical shape. The skin is yellow with a red striped blush; the flesh is white, juicy, sweet-tasting with a slight acidity, and possesses the characteristic of not darkening when cut.

The variety is of universal use; fruits are used both for fresh consumption and for drying or making juices.
