The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing Delbarestivale and Liberty, however, a number of studies discuss an alternative version of the parent pair: Delcorf and Alkmene.

The fruits of this variety are distinguished by an increased acid content, which is about 0.89 malic acid. The variety was introduced in 2008 as a summer crop.
