The Tsaarin Kilpi variety, also known as Tsarsköld, Aino, or Kuhno, belongs to the group of utility varieties. Fruits ripen in September, have a short shelf life, and are valued primarily for making purées and fruit butters.

The plant forms an open, light crown with thin, drooping branches. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and good resistance to fungal diseases.

Fruits are medium to large in size, conical or broadly conical in shape. The skin color is red-yellow with a pronounced red blush on the sunny side. The flesh is tender, juicy, loose, and the taste is sweetish.
