The plant has a crown that is pyramidal in youth and becomes spreading and rounded with age. The leaves are ovate or elliptical in shape, turning golden-yellow or orange-red in autumn. Flowering occurs in May to early June; the buds have a pale pink tint, and the open flowers are white, 2–3 cm in diameter.
The fruits are small, about 1–1.5 cm in diameter, characterized by high resistance to shattering. The variety features good winter hardiness. Resistance to scab is not absolute and may decrease over time.
