The variety is a red bud mutation of Belle de Boskoop. The tree grows vigorously when young, later growth becomes moderate, and the crown forms in a dome-shaped and spreading manner. The variety is characterized by high resistance to scab, powdery mildew, and frost resistance down to -27...-29°C.
The fruits are very large, reaching 250 g, flat-round in shape with a characteristic rough skin of yellow-green color with an intense red blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, yellowish-greenish, with a pronounced wine sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties.
Harvesting begins in October, consumer maturity is reached in December, and the fruits maintain quality until April–May. The variety does not tolerate radical pruning and prefers moist and nutritious soils. The fruits are excellent for baking and heat treatment.
