The rootstock was obtained as a result of crossing M.9 and Robusta 5. Trees on it reach 60–65% of the vigor of standard trees, which corresponds to the parameters of the M.26 rootstock. It has high precocity and productivity, exceeding the indicators of M.7, and produces little root suckering.
The plant has high resistance to fire blight and root rots, but is sensitive to woolly apple aphid. Wood brittleness is possible at the graft union, therefore, the installation of supports is recommended. In nurseries, propagation is difficult due to the formation of lateral shoots on mother bushes.
Individual compatibility problems were noted when grafting the Gala variety, manifesting in insufficient strength of the union site.
