Deciduous tree or large shrub 4–6 meters tall, sometimes reaching 10 meters. The crown is narrow when young, becoming spreading, open, oval, or pyramidal in shape with a diameter of 3–6 meters over time. Leaves are dark green, glossy, and ovate.

Flowering is abundant, occurring from late April to May; buds are soft pink, and opened flowers are white, single, up to 3.5–4.5 cm in diameter. Fruits ripen in the second half of September, are small, up to 3–4 cm in diameter, ovate, bright orange with a red blush, and persist on the branches for a long time.

The variety is self-fertile, possesses high winter hardiness (zone 5a, down to -29°C), and is drought-tolerant. The fruits have a sweet-sour-tart taste and are suitable for making jams, jellies, and compotes. It is resistant to scab, though preventive treatment is recommended.
