The tree is of medium vigor with a dense, spreading crown and elliptic-lanceolate leaves. The variety enters into fruiting early, starting from the third year of life. The medium-sized fruits have an ovoid shape, their color changes from light green to dark purple upon ripening, and the flesh is distinguished by its firmness.
The harvest is collected from October to December. The variety is self-sterile and requires the presence of pollinators. The plant possesses high resistance to cold, withstanding down to –15°C, and also tolerates drought and wind loads well. The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt and olive knot, but is sensitive to olive leaf spot.
The variety is valued for its versatile use for oil production and table consumption. Oil content is 19–23%. The resulting oil is characterized by an intense fruity profile with notes of artichoke, green apple, and almond, and possesses a fresh aroma with slight bitterness.
