The variety has high vigor and an upright tree habit. The productivity period is medium-early, and flowering occurs early. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators such as Leccino or Pendolino.
The fruits are large, weighing about 5 g, and have an elliptical asymmetrical shape with a small nipple at the end. During ripening, the color changes to wine-violet-red and black. The variety tolerates cold well, but is characterized by high susceptibility to olive fruit fly infestation.
