Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is native to the Peloponnese region of Greece and is the result of landrace selection. The tree is adapted to local conditions and is recommended for cultivation at altitudes of up to 650 meters above sea level due to its cold hardiness.

The fruits of this variety are characterized by large size, high yield, and a distinct creamy taste. The oil obtained from them is notable for its mildness, which is why it is often used in blends with other varieties to achieve a balanced aroma and flavor profile.
