The tree of this variety is characterized by vigorous growth, forming a dense, rounded canopy. The leaves are elliptic-lanceolate, medium-sized, olive-green on the upper side and have a grayish shade on the underside. The fruits are medium to large in size, oval-asymmetrical in shape, and acquire a dark color upon ripening.
The variety is sensitive to adverse weather conditions during flowering and is also susceptible to olive fruit fly, olive moth, peacock spot, and black scale. The fruits are used for oil production: harvested early, it has a fresh aroma with bitterness and spiciness, while if harvested when dark, it becomes sweet and fruity.
