10 August 2026
The variety originated in the eastern part of Liguria, Italy. The trees are characterized by high vigor, reaching a height of 15–16 meters. The plant possesses high resistance to adverse weather conditions and cold, which allows it to grow at altitudes of up to 700 meters above sea level.
The fruits have a cylindrical, elongated shape, slightly wider at the base, and acquire a purple-black color at full maturity. The leaves are dark green, oblong in shape, with a grayish-green shade on the underside. The variety has dual-purpose use, and the oil obtained from it is distinguished by a balanced, sweetish taste.
