Lazzero Pratigiano is a traditional local olive variety, typical of the Tuscany region and included in regional genetic resource registries. The variety is a distinct entry and is genetically different from the Lazzero variety grown in the Cecina River valley.
In scientific studies of the biochemical properties of oils from this variety, a high content of (E)-2-hexenal was established. Detailed morphological characteristics, ripening indicators, or data on the plant's disease resistance are absent in open sources, as the variety is mainly represented in genetic diversity collections.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
