The tree has medium vigor and a dense canopy of an open or weeping habit. Leaves are large, elliptical-lanceolate. The variety is self-incompatible, requires pollinators such as Maurino or Moraiolo, and can act as a pollinator for other varieties.
Fruits are medium-sized, oval-shaped, slightly asymmetrical with a pointed apex, and wine-red when harvested. It is a late-maturing variety with high yield potential, but medium yield regularity. The percentage of aborted ovaries is 20–25%.
The variety has good resistance to diseases, particularly peacock spot, and tolerates low temperatures. Due to the low rooting ability of cuttings, it is propagated mainly by grafting. The oil is characterized by a fruity aroma, herbaceous notes, and a balanced taste.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
