Sangiorgese is a local Italian variety of Olea europaea. In some sources, it is mentioned as a synonym or a variety related to the Ortice variety common in Southern Italy.
The purpose of the variety is for olive oil production. Due to the lack of detailed agronomic passports, the morphological characteristics of the tree, data on ripening periods, and disease resistance are currently not described.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
