The Tenacella variety (sometimes referred to as Teanese) is a local variety intended for olive oil production. The fruits are small in size, with an average weight of about 1.18 g per fruit, which complicates mechanical harvesting.
The plant has self-pollinating ability and shows relatively high fruit set. In vegetative propagation experiments, cuttings of the variety demonstrate satisfactory rooting ability when using hormonal treatment with auxins, especially when using apical and middle parts of the shoots.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
