The tree is of medium height, reaching 3–5 meters, with a dense, wide, rounded crown. Flowering begins in mid-April. The variety is for universal use; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and drying.
The fruits are medium-sized, 2–4 cm in diameter, rounded, with dark red, almost black skin and juicy flesh. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases such as Monilinia, which is why it is often used in breeding as a parental form. It requires regular pruning to shape the crown.
