The name Erd Weichsel is not the name of a specific variety. Historically, this term was used as a common designation for sour cherry or as a synonym for the old variety Griotte d'Ostheim, also known as Zwerg-Weichsel.
The confusion in modern catalogs is due to the phonetic similarity with the variety Érdi Nagygyümölcsű. This is an independent, medium-sized variety 3–4 meters in height with an early or mid-early ripening period. The fruits of the variety weigh 6–8 grams; the tree is self-fertile and is characterized by high yield.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
