The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Pándy» and «Érdi jubileum». The tree is medium-sized, forms an open crown, and shoots have a tendency to bend under the weight of the fruit. Flowering occurs at medium-late or late times, which reduces the risk of damage by spring frosts.

Fruits are of medium size, weighing 4–6 g, round, dark burgundy, almost black in color. The flesh is firm, juicy, with intensely colored juice and a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to fruit cracking, dropping, and Monilinia.

The variety is self-fertile and does not require pollinator trees. The purpose is universal; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing. Harvesting takes place in mid-June.
