The dark red fruits weighing 5–7 grams have a sweet-sour taste and are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing. The variety is known in some countries under the trade name Danube. Externally, the tree is characterized as a plant of medium vigor, the height of which can be limited when using dwarfing rootstocks.
The variety is self-fertile, however, in a number of cases, it is mentioned as partially self-fertile, requiring the presence of pollinators to increase yield. The plant is susceptible to diseases such as coccomycosis and monilial burn, which requires the implementation of protective measures.
