The tree reaches a height of 2.5 to 6 meters with a crown width of 3.5–5 meters. The crown shape is elegant, broadly spreading, and high-domed. The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with permeable nutritious soil and is sensitive to spring frosts.
The fruits are large, rounded, and dark red in color with red juicy flesh and a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety ripens in July and August and is suitable for fresh consumption and all types of processing. It is characterized by high resistance to Monilinia and low susceptibility to bare branches.
The variety is partially self-fertile. To increase yields, it is recommended to plant pollinator varieties such as Morellenfeuer, Fanal, Schattenmorelle or Köröser Weichsel.
