The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the Griot Ostheimsky variety and the Marchijska sweet cherry variety. The tree is medium-sized, reaches a height of 3.5 to 6 meters, and forms a dense obconical crown.
Fruits weighing 5–7 g have a dark red, almost black, shiny skin. The pulp and juice are ruby-colored. The flavor of the fruits is rated as pleasant, dessert-like, with mild acidity.
The variety is partially self-fertile and blooms at mid-season. It has low susceptibility to leaf spot, while resistance to Monilinia and bacterial canker is rated as average or below average.
