The tree is characterized by low vigor and a semi-spherical crown shape. It begins bearing fruit in the third year after planting, fruiting primarily on long branches. Due to the tendency for the branches to become bare, the variety requires annual pruning.
The variety is self-fertile. It possesses high winter hardiness and medium drought tolerance. It is susceptible to anthracnose, but tolerant to moniliosis. The fruit ripening period occurs in the first ten days of July.
The fruits have a mass of 5–5.5 g, a spherical or flattened shape, and shiny dark red skin. The flesh is colored, juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
