The Heimanova konzervna variety (German synonym Heimanns Konservenweichsel) is intended primarily for industrial processing. The fruits are characterized by a large size: in studies, the average height was 1.658 cm with a dry matter content of about 16.5%.
The variety is historically significant in a number of European regions and is often mentioned in lists of those recommended for industrial cultivation orchards. It has also been used in breeding programs, in particular when crossing with the Kereška variety to create new varieties.
