The variety belongs to the group of cherry-sweet cherry hybrids; in 19th-century German-language sources, it is referred to as Süßweichsel. In modern literature, data on the current status of the variety, agrotechnical characteristics, yield, or disease resistance are absent, as no modern variety trials have been conducted.
The fruits are described as very large, having a round, oval, or round-heart shape. The surface of the fruit is slightly flattened on both sides, with a light red color. The variety is mentioned in pomological guides from 1837 and 1853 among other European varieties of that period.
