Prunus cerasus L. Sour cherry · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree belongs to sour cherry, distinguished by its low maintenance and ability to grow in poor soils with lime content. The variety is considered resistant to diseases.

The fruits are medium-sized, have a round shape and an intense red skin color. The flesh is yellow, tender, and separates from the stone. Due to the pronounced sour taste, the fruits are not consumed fresh, but are used for the production of candied fruits, syrups, and maraschino.
