The trees have moderate vigor, being 30% smaller than sweet cherry seedlings, and have an intermediate crown type. The variety shows good adaptation to heavy soils with low permeability and is resistant to conditions with a high active lime content of up to 9%, as well as to nematodes. The plant is tolerant to Phytophthora and Verticillium, moderately sensitive to Armillaria, and slightly susceptible to Agrobacterium. A tendency to form root suckers is noted.
As a rootstock, it promotes early fruiting of the scion, improves fruit color and quality, and accelerates flowering and ripening by 2–3 days compared to seedlings. In some cases, the fruits are used in the processing industry, particularly in the production of jams with a protected geographical indication.
